Tucker Pellicci.
Tucker Pellicci (MBA) will represent the graduate students of the Spring Class of 2025 at the Monday, May 5, morning graduation ceremony. Pellicci is a Portland, Oregon, native who chose HPU for its unique blend of academic rigor, athletic competition, and diverse community. As a young entrepreneur and owner of a successful phone repair service, Pellicci knew he wanted to pursue a business degree. However, as he progressed at HPU, he found his passion for marketing—drawn to the creativity and strategic thinking it involves—and decided to concentrate in that field while minoring in International Business.
At HPU, Pellicci balanced academics with athletics as a key member of the Men’s Basketball team, where he gained valuable skills in discipline, time management, and teamwork. These experiences helped shape his leadership, which he later applied as President of both the HPU and PacWest Student-Athlete Advisory Committees, where he worked to ensure a more inclusive campus environment for all students.
Through the concurrent enrollment program at HPU, Pellicci started his MBA while completing his undergraduate degree, extending his basketball career while developing his business acumen. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, broadening his expertise.
Pellicci’s professional experiences include a communications and marketing internship with the Pacific West Conference and a position as a digital marketing consultant for several small- to medium-sized businesses. These opportunities, alongside his work as a technical analyst for HPU’s IT department, have provided him with a broad skill set that he is eager to apply as he moves forward in his career.
