Julia Grabowski.
Julia Grabowski (BS in Criminal Justice) will represent the undergraduate students of the Spring Class of 2025 at the Monday, May 5, afternoon graduation ceremony. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Grabowski has always cherished the small-town feel and the supportive community that shaped her into the person she is today. As a first-generation Polish-American, Grabowski is deeply connected to her Polish roots, culture, and traditions, which she proudly embraces and plans to pass down to future generations.
Choosing HPU for its exceptional Criminal Justice program, Grabowski found a personalized educational journey through small classes and dedicated professors. The close-knit community at HPU and the real-world opportunities provided by the University's strong ties with the local community and state played a significant role in her academic and personal growth.
Grabowski joined the HPU Debate Team to enhance her skills in structuring and delivering arguments, an experience that will benefit her future career as an attorney. Her professors, especially those in the Criminal Justice department, have been a constant source of support and inspiration, sharing invaluable knowledge and real-life experiences.
A highlight of Grabowski's college career was interning at the Honolulu Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, where she gained practical experience, which validated her lifelong goal to work in the field of law. She is also a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.
Upon graduation, Grabowski will be attending law school, with plans to start her career as a prosecuting attorney before transitioning to criminal defense, driven by a lifelong commitment to bringing justice to society.
