Algeo Rosario was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi and graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa in 2019 with a BA in Communications and a minor in Ilokano. Prior to his work at HPU, he spent 4 years at the UH Mānoa student news organization, Ka Leo O Hawaiʻi. His professional experience also includes an internship at Hawaii News Now and working at the State of Hawaiʻi’s Department of Land of Natural Resources. During his spare time he enjoys playing video games, playing tennis, and listening to J-pop music.
