Esports Arena

HPU's Esports Arena is approximately 3,000 sf., and located downtown, on the water at Aloha Tower Marketplace. The Arena features cutting-edge gaming PCs, next gen consoles, virtual reality stations, casual seating and viewing areas, and outside viewing. As Hawaii's first Esports arena, we are proud to open our doors for community and corporate events, field trips, gaming tournaments, learning and networking events and more. Reach out to book a private function, corporate event, or private party. We also sell snacks and drinks at the front desk!

The HPU Esports Arena is excited to host your next event. Past events include: Hawaii Esports State Championships in Middle and High School, the largest FGC scene and monthly tournaments in Hawaii (Smash Bros, SF, Tekken, Guilty Gear and more), League of Legends and Valorant randoms and cash tournaments, Esports watch parties, Corporate Hackathons and Cyber Defense scenarios for local vendors, Esports Summer Camps, Twitch Hawaii Community Meetup, Women in Gaming, and much more.

Customers, students, and gamers wishing to play games that require a Username or Login (Fortnite, Rocket League, Minecraft, Roblox, Apex Legends, Valorant, League of Legends) will need to use their own ID. Please come prepared by bringing your username and password for Epic Games (Epic ID - Fortnite/Rocket League), Riot Games (Valorant, League of Legends), Xbox/Microsoft, Steam, Origin (Apex Legends), Battle.net (Call of Duty, Heartstone, Overwatch) etc. The Esports Arena has a limited number of generic accounts, and will use them on a first come first served basis.

• We offer discounts to members of the military, HPD, HFD, first responders, veterans, and HPU staff and faculty.
• HPU Students (fully enrolled) will be credited 7 hours per week for gameplay during Fall/Spring Semester. Students are free to use the facilities anytime during operational hours, and may purchase additional gameplay time for a discount at the front desk.
• Please note: Time/prices are per person. Time passes may not be split between accounts. Prices are subject to change

• 6 hours - $10.00

Parking is also available at Topa Financial Center and Harbor Court. These garages are not maintained by HPU Security. They offer a flat rate of $5 all day Saturday and Sunday, and after 5pm on weekdays. This may be a good option for event attendees expecting a longer stay.

RULES FOR MINORS AND UNATTENDED MINORS

• Minors under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the HPU Esports Arena, they cannot be left unattended.
• All Minors must have a Minor Consent and Waiver Form on file signed by a parent/guardian when creating an account..
• Minors between the ages of 16-18 years of age are permitted in the Arena without an accompanying adult but must comply with all Arena rules.
• Minors between the ages of 13 – 15 years of age, may only be left unattended under the terms and conditions outlined below.

A parent/guardian is required to sign them in upon arrival or complete our virtual check-in process with valid photo identification. Virtual check-in is only an option for customers who have completed our Minor Consent and Waiver Agreement

The minor’s stay is limited to 4 hours, and they are permitted in the Arena until no later than 9 PM without a parent or guardian.

If a minor aged 13-15 leaves the arena they will need a parent/guardian to sign them in again upon their return. 

Under no circumstances will the Arena be responsible for any unaccompanied minor once they leave the Arena.
