Dr. Katie Nakahara's love for learning and diverse experience in education is evident through her teaching career since 2014, which spans elementary, middle, and secondary levels in both public and private schools in Hawaii. She is dedicated to Teacher Education, mentoring and lecturing aspiring educators at Hawaii Pacific University, University of Hawaii West Oahu and Leeward Community College. Additionally, she helps new teachers in the DOE as a classroom support mentor and serves as the membership director for the Hawaii Council of Teachers of Mathematics (HCTM).
