Dr. Meynard Enriquez, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. He currently serves as Visiting Faculty with Hawai‘i Pacific University and Duke University, where he teaches across the musculoskeletal, neurorehabilitation, and advanced therapeutic intervention sequences in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. His teaching excellence was recognized with the Golden Apple Award for Adjunct Faculty in 2023.
In addition to his teaching, Dr. Enriquez is an active researcher and presenter. He has presented at multiple American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meetings, with recent work addressing runner’s dystonia, orthotic prescription, manual therapy for hip pain, and injury prevention strategies. He co-led the nationally recognized preconference workshop Learning How to Fall: Preventing Injuries with Safe Fall Landing Strategies, reflecting his focus on applied biomechanics and community health.
Dr. Enriquez also contributes to professional service as a reviewer for the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy and as Public Relations Chair for APTA Hawai‘i. His career is distinguished by a dedication to advancing clinical practice, preparing the next generation of physical therapists, and bridging the gap between research and education. Dr. Enriquez maintains active clinical roles at Hawaii Sports and Balance Centers on Kauai, Hawaii and Optimize Global Physio Solutions.
