Dr. Sharniece Pierce is the Director of Admissions and an Assistant Professor. She is passionate about upper extremity rehabilitation, neurological conditions, burn rehabilitation, health and wellness, and evidence-based practice. She holds advanced certifications in lymphedema management, applied functional science, myofascial decompression, kinesiotaping, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, and LSVT-BIG for Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Pierce holds leadership roles within the American Society of Hand Therapy and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, and is an active member and volunteer for the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Outside of her professional work, she is a self-proclaimed LEGO expert, enjoys traveling, and attending athletic events
