Program Overview
Las Vegas Program
Hawai‘i Pacific University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (HPU DPT) program in Las Vegas will be located
southwest of the renowned Las Vegas Strip, a convenient 15-minute drive from the airport. The program will
offer a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically to meet the requirements of the DPT program, providing
students with hands-on learning opportunities. This space will be shared with the HPU Doctor of Occupational
Therapy Las Vegas program, fostering interprofessional education and collaboration.
HPU DPT - Las Vegas provides a supportive coaching model, clinical education experiences both nationally
and internationally, and a highly qualified faculty with expertise in online teaching and learning. Program
graduates will also benefit from transition assistance into professional practice through job placement support
and networking opportunities.
The HPU DPT - Las Vegas program is unique due to its international and interprofessional learning community,
focusing on effective healthcare teams and incorporating the HPU values of Aloha, Pono, and Kuleana. The Las
Vegas lab space offers students access to cutting-edge equipment and interprofessional education
opportunities by collaborating with HPU’s Las Vegas Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. Moreover, Las
Vegas’s attractive climate, outdoor activities, culinary scene, and major sports teams make it a compelling
choice for students from all over the U.S., removing barriers to enrollment and enhancing the overall student
experience.
