Early Decision vs Early Action
Early Decision
Early Decision is binding. If you choose to apply Early Decision, you are committing to attend Hawaiʻi Pacific University, and agree to withdraw other active applications, and submit a $500 enrollment deposit no later than February 1.
Application Deadline: November 15
Decision: Issued by December 31
Benefits of Early Decision
- Guaranteed tuition – tuition no more than $18,000 a year, for up to four years
- Guaranteed housing years one and two
- All benefits of Early Action (see below)
Early Action
Early Action is not binding. If you choose to apply Early Action, you have until May to make a final enrollment decision and you can apply to any other institution in the interim.
Application Deadline: November 15
Decision: Issued by December 31
